Networking & Team Building

Hosted by Big Ideas, GSVC, and LAUNCH, Innovators@Cal is an exciting event that fosters collaboration across the UC Berkeley campus by bringing together students looking to form or join teams to support their innovative ideas. If you have an idea or startup, are looking to form or join a team, or are interested in the campus resources available to you - this event is for you!

The event will kick-off in Sibley Auditorium with Keynote Speaker, Michael Faye of GiveDirectly. In addition to hearing Michael speak about his experience as a founder and leading innovator, attendees will have an opportunity to learn more about cross-campus competitions (Big Ideas, GSVC & LAUNCH) and opportunities to get involved.

Select individuals/teams looking for teammates will be invited to "pitch" their ideas and briefly describe the interests or skills they are hoping to recruit. After the speaker and pitches, the event will move to Blum Hall B100 for food, drinks, networking and team building. Representatives from campus organizations will be present to share resources, as will more students looking to form and join teams. Workspace and whiteboards will be available to student teams for networking and teambuilding.
